 Welcome to Monkey class.

KS2 now! It is a big step and we welcome your children in with open arms.

Mrs Bagshaw teaches on a Monday and Tuesday and Mrs Shinn on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Our door is always open at the end of the school day.

We update regularly on our school app - Seesaw. Daily messages will be shared with you on there, so please make sure you are logged in and enjoy looking and interacting with your child's learning. Please come and ask us for a code if you do not have one already.

Our Learning week runs accordingly:

Spellings: Tested on a Tuesday.

Number Club: Tested on a Thursday.

Reading books: Changed on a Tuesday and Thursday.

If your child does not place them in the box to be changed in the morning then they will not be swapped. This teaches your child to be come independent and take responsibility for their own learning. If your child has not yet read their book then they can keep the same one.

Homework: Given out on a Thursday and needs to be handed in on a Tuesday. This can be a date and signature from an adult with a short note about what you have done this week.

Home learning is handed out at the start of each new term and children are given a number of weeks to complete an activity.

PE kit needs to be in school all week - outdoor and indoor kit.

We look forward to having lots of fun with your children this year and all we ask is that they try their best!
