Our Environment and Facilities

Our school is fortunate to be located within large grounds with a playing field, three playgrounds, wooden amphitheatre, a bird hide and wildlife area with pond. Our classrooms are vibrant, engaging learning environments with displays regularly updated to scaffold learning and celebrate children's successes.

Our school grounds border Salisbury Tennis Club where our children often receive tennis coaching and we are a short walk from Five Rivers Leisure Centre and Waitrose where classes enjoy visits over the year.

We have very close links with St Paul’s Church and welcome members of the Church community to lead our Wednesday collective worship. We value our link with the church and hold our Christmas Carol Service, Easter and Harvest collective worship and end of year Leavers’ Service there to which all parents are invited. Children are regularly invited to special events at the church and enjoy the warmth of this relationship.

Community links are important to us and we are always pleased to welcome voluntary helpers and visitors to the school. Parents and visitors often come to school to talk about their jobs and encourage the children to consider the needs of communities and how these are met. We regularly enjoy visiting the city of Salisbury.

"The learning environment is very calm and focused and the school has created rich spaces for learning and SMSC development in its outside environment. It is clear that high expectations shape practice at the school."
