Loving to learn as we build friendship and faith

Welcome

"I have come in order that you might have life — life in all its fullness" (John 10v10)

We hope the information within this website allows visitors to the site the opportunity to get to know our school. For families who already have children at our school - the information provided within, should help you keep up to date with current and future activities, events and curriculum initiatives.

Sarum St.Paul's is a happy school. Our children are committed to learning, they thrive on challenge and celebrate each others successes. Creating a 'love of learning' is at the forefront of all we do; our year group topics are planned to stimulate and excite learning, enriched by experience days, trips and outside specialists visiting the school.

Working in partnership with parents and carers is crucial to us, we want to ensure every child feels supported and secure during their time at our school. As such, we view every child as an individual and seek to develop their full potential - intellectually, spiritually, physically and socially - in partnership with you at home.

We welcome your child to our school.

"My child has gained and given an immense amount in his final year at Sarum St Paul's which is reflected in both their personal growth, happiness and the academic results they've achieved. We are thrilled with their attainment and also with the care, dedication, responsiveness and inspired teaching that have helped my child on their way."

Our Year 4 class visited the River Park project and had a tour with Andy Wallis, project manager. They talked about the progress of the wetlands and asked Andy lots of questions. They found out all about what they did to lessen the project’s negative impact on wildlife (like relocating thousands of tadpoles) and increase the positive impact (like planting thousands of trees). As a school we have hugely benefited from being involved with the park project, it has enhanced lots of our geography and science learning.

We have shown lots of compassion and love in school celebrating anti-bullying week and Children in Need. The children have talked with such maturity and empathy and have enjoyed taking part in activities to support both worthy causes. We enjoyed a visit from BBC Wiltshire Radio and Pudsey and we took part in the Bearpee challenge! You can listen to our BBC Wiltshire interview from Monday, we were live on air at 2.24pm!

We started the week with RE Encounter Day. Mrs Gregory, Debbie May and the Church team organised the event which gave pupils the opportunity to experience Christian Diversity. Several visitors came to school to talk about Christianity around the world. As part of the day, several shoeboxes were created for the Christmas Appeal. A huge thank you for the donations!

A huge thank you to our school community for supporting the harvest appeal. Our very helpful year 6 pupils carried the donations to church and Salisbury Food Bank were delighted with the amount of food we handed over (67kgs!). It was a wonderful service celebrating food from around the world. Each class created a short performance which included a French breakfast, German poems, a taco rap, flamenco dancing and more! Thank you once again to Debbie and the St Paul’s team for the energy and time they put into organising the service. Seeing an inflatable watermelon, banana and lemon crowd surfing around the church when demonstrating the fruits of the spirit was a particular highlight!
